How We Make An Impact
Airdrie is a City of 90,000+ people with many needs. The Airdrie 100 provides a simple way to support local charities that need our help.
Four times a year, we come together to support organizations doing important work in Airdrie. Each member contributes $100, hears directly from local organizations, and votes on where our collective donation should go.
There are no fundraising commitments and no complicated membership requirements. Just a few hours, four times a year, and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community.
$100 × 100+ Men = $10,000+ Local Impact
What Happens at a Meeting
Our meetings are designed to be simple, social and impactful. Come early to connect with other members, then hear directly from local organizations before helping decide where our collective donation will go.
Arrive & Connect
Come early for food, a drink and conversation with other members of the Airdrie community.
Hear the Stories
Three local organizations take the stage and tell us who they are, what they do, and how our support could make a difference. We also have a guest speaker, hear from the previous recipient, and give out some door prizes along the way.
Cast Your Vote
Every paid member gets a vote. Once the presentations are finished, members choose the organization they'd most like to support. Ballots are sent out electronically and tabulated instantly.
Make an Impact
The votes are counted and the winning organization receives our collective donation — often $10,000 or more.
What Does Membership Involve?
Being part of 100 Airdrie Men doesn't require committees, fundraising or a major time commitment. We ask members to make one simple commitment: show up when you can, contribute $100 each quarter, and help decide where our collective donation goes.
$100 per meeting
Your contribution is combined with those of other members to create a much larger local impact than what could be made individually.
4 Evenings a Year
We meet quarterly. Come early if you'd like to socialize; the formal part of the meeting is kept short and focused.
1 Vote
Every paid member gets one vote, regardless of how long you've been a member. The group decides together where the money goes.
